Admit your sin and God will forgive you.
Mark 10:12 – And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.
1 Corinthians 7:10 – To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.
No believing wife can ever divorce her husband for any reason. Don’t cover it up with exceptions and justifications! Don’t deceive yourself by denying your sin.
1 John 1:8-10 – If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
If you have divorced your wife, other than for the reason that she committed adultery, you have sinned. You must repent of your sin. Admit it to God and He will forgive you. Don’t cover it up with justifications and excuses.
Matthew 19:9 – I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.
Matthew 5:32 – But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery.
